Tripartite Collaboration

The Regent of Pahang, Tengku Hassanal Ibrahim Alam Shah, chairs the Climate Change Education (CCE) tripartite collaboration work meeting at #COP27, Sharm El-Shiekh, with representatives of Green Growth Asia Foundation, Office for Climate Education, Foundation for Environmental Education and ICLEI World Secretariat.


His Royal Highness, in his capacity as the Royal Patron of Eco-Schools Malaysia, was quoted saying, "I'm looking forward to working closely with FEE, OCE and ICLEI to drive the Education for Sustainable Development agenda through the Eco-Schools Programme. Eco-Schools Programme is important in raising future generations that are fully aware of the environmental issues in Malaysia and the world. There is no time to lose.”


Also present at the historical meeting was Mr Balamurugan Ratha Krishnan, Chief Executive and Mr Sri Themudu, Chief Programme Officer of Green Growth Asia Foundation, Mr Pramod Kumar Sharma, Senior Director of Education of Foundation for Environmental Education, Mr Eric Guilyardi, President of Office for Climate Education, Mr Gino Van Begin, Secretary General of ICLEI Local Governments for Sustainability and their delegation.


In a related development, he welcomes the #GGAF's plan to expand regionally and looks forward to the prospect of hosting #FEE's first regional office in Pahang.
